It does if you are a Qualified Person and your business is a Qualified Business.
You are a Qualified Person if……
- You are a U.S. Citizen
- You have lived in Louisiana for at least one year
- You have a personal net worth of less than $200,000, not including the value of your personal residence, your retirement accounts, or the value of any business you own.
Your business is a Qualified Business if……
- At least 60% of your business is owned by qualified people (as listed above)
- Louisiana is the principal place for your business
- Your business is organized as a “For-Profit” business
- Your business has annual gross revenues of less than $10.5 million
- The net worth of your business is less than $750,000
- The business owners devote at least 35 hours per week to the business
